He discussed Governor Kathy Hochul's record on issues and policy regarding people with disabilities, 504 Dems endorsement of Antonio Delgado in the governors race next year as well as other topics.

This photo showing 504 Dems President Mike Schewinsburg marching with Comptroller Brad Lander at the No Kings Rally, appeared in the New York Post. Schweinsburg said to members after the event, "While exhausting, yesterday's peaceful protest from Times Square to 14th Street was very distinct hallmark for the disability community.

It was the first time our community has been included so prominently. We were the front line, the banner line, that stretched from one side of the street to the other and marked the beginning of the parade. That we were selected to among the 20ish people of over a hundred thousand to do so was quite an honor."

Flatbush Avenue rally where the 504 democratic club endorsed Antonio Delgado for governor of New York. September 17th, 2025

On September 17th, the 504 Dems proudly became the first to endorse Antonio Delgado for Governor of New York State. Joining in the press conference were: our Vice President, Edward Funches; Campaign Committee Chair, Michael Cohen; Members, Michael Ring, Miguel Colon, Carlos Feliciano; and a large contingent from Edward's company Inclusion - The Movement. With each passing day, Antonio reinforces the notion that our bold choice was the right one.

Mike Schweinsburg, President of the 504 Democratic Club and the leaders of 12 other downtown, political organizations, met with Democratic nominee for Mayor Zohran Mamdani. The meeting was held on Thursday September 18th. The 504 Dems are strong supporters of Mr. Mamdani.

504 Dems endorsed Brad Lander for Mayor in the upcoming June 24 primary. In a forum held on March 18th Club members interviewed every major candidate including Adrienne Adams, Zohran Mamdani, Jessica Ramos, Zellnor Myrie, Scott Stringer, Michael Blake as well as Former Governor Andrew Cuomo appearing in his first citywide forum.

The only candidate that did not attend the event was current Mayor Eric Adams. It is rumored that he might run as an independent.
