504 Dems president Mike Schweinsburg appeared on “ Dispatches from Planet Albany,” a radio show that airs daily. He discussed Governor Kathy Hochul's record on issues and policy regarding people with disabilities, 504 Dems endorsement of Antonio Delgado in the governors race next year as well as other topics.

Schweinsburg said to members after the event, "While exhausting, yesterday's peaceful protest from Times Square to 14th Street was very distinct hallmark for the disability community.

On September 17th, the 504 Dems proudly became the first to endorse Antonio Delgado for Governor of New York State. Joining in the press conference were: our Vice President, Edward Funches; Campaign Committee Chair, Michael Cohen; Members, Michael Ring, Miguel Colon, Carlos Feliciano; and a large contingent from Edward's company Inclusion - The Movement. With each passing day, Antonio reinforces the notion that our bold choice was the right one.

In this New York Post story by Isabel Vincent entitled " Never mind winning NYC’s mayoral race — here’s what sources believe Andrew Cuomo really wants", Cuomo's motivation for becoming Mayor is being questioned. Toward the bottom of the article Cuomo is quoted at the 504 Democtatic Club candidate forum saying " Matter of fact, governor versus mayor, I think governor’s a better title. "

504 Dems endorsed Brad Lander for Mayor in the upcoming June 24 primary. In a forum held on March 18th Club members interviewed every major candidate including Adrienne Adams, Zohran Mamdani, Jessica Ramos, Zellnor Myrie, Scott Stringer, Michael Blake as well as Former Governor Andrew Cuomo appearing in his first citywide forum.

A coalition of transit advocacy groups embarked on a citywide subway accessibility day of action, dubbed “One Day, Five Boroughs, 23 Stations,” on Sunday to talk to subway riders about the impact Gov. Kathy Hochul’s decision to indefinitely pause congestion pricing has on accessibility upgrades.
